Shower Wall, 2015

In response to a brief that called for a Neighborhood Recreation Center in Charlestown, MA, this project proposes a single thick central wall (the width being similar to that of the alleys found in between lots) that is impregnated with bathrooms, showers, and a staircase.

By unifying the circulation and the essential amenities of the building, either side of the wall can accommodate attachments and enclosures tailored to a variety of purposes over the seasons.
