I was born in Karachi, Pakistan and currently live in the United States (Benningotn, VT) where I teach art and maintain my studio. I have a Masters in Architecture, and frequently use the tools and tropes of that profession in my work, but I am not a practicing architect (I would love to work on buildings some time in the near future, though). I draw, paint, and make objects but also perform (most recently with Hilary Clark) and work on films (most recently with Bouchra Khalili).
